Due to copyright restrictions all the pictures you see on this web site are items we have made as either commisions or projects made for craft fairs. We also show some pattern fronts to assist customers to make a selection. No pattern details are given or sold.

Hello, we are Carole and Traci a mother and daughter team with over 65 years experience between us. As we are both grandmothers the choice of name for our handknits was easy - 2nannys.

A bit about us:-

I was taught to knit at an early age as were most girls born in the 50's. As a mum to 3 children knitting became a part of my life making cardigans etc for my growing family and in the process I have made a wide variety of sizes from tiny doll to a 50" chest  Aran sweater that weighed over 1000gr as well as learning how to do cables, fairisle and picture knits.

In 2009 I retired from full time work and having concentrated on knitting for so many years I decided improve my crochet skills. I taught myself to follow a pattern, found lots of lovely designs from home crafters around the world and learned make some of the more intricate designs which you now see on our pages.

Traci is my eldest daughter and a busy mum and nan. She was taught to knit as a child although did not make much until she her own children. She joined the venture mid 2012 and knits many of the lovely arans and cable cardigans as well as the baby outfits you will find on our pages. She has recently started to crochet and I hope some of her work will soon be seen on here.

We do not design our patterns but take pleasure in using different colours and trimmings to create something that you will not find in any shop. The names you see on some of our garments were chosen by my 2 granddaughters as they said pretty things should have pretty names.

We would like to thank all our customers to date and to welcome new customers.

Aug 2015 We would like to welcome Wendy of Carbry Knits to our team. Wendy is a fellow crafter and enjoys knitting childrens wear, she is also a nanny and will be with us at many of the craft fairs.

July 2016  We decided to start LSR Yarncrafts as we had accounts with James C Brett Yarns (from 2015) and Woolcraft (from 2018)
